What do you do when your best friend ever suddenly stops talking to you, and you get called down to the principal's office, being accused of bullying, and stalking her, and you have no idea what you did wrong, but know for a fact that you did neither of these things, and you are told to not speak to her again?

Then, you still end up crying yourself to sleep, three years later, and you see her parents in the mall, and you know you cannot make eye contact, even though you see them look back and laugh...

This question has been bugging me for two years, now...  I can't get over it.

Please help.

I've learned from personal, first hand experience that there's a lot of shitty people in this world. You most likely didn't even do anything wrong; your "friend" is likely just one of those people you're better off without. It's best for you just to move on. Realize that she was horrible enough to make up such lies, and shitty enough to do that to someone who considered her a best friend.

Some peoples actions can't be explained. All our minds work differently, we all act differently. That's why we have murderers, rapists, thieves etc. She is just plain and simple, a shitty person, or at least turned into one. Don't let her get you down. And her parents laughing too? Just more proof that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. Her whole family is probably just a bunch of crappy people. You're better than them, take comfort in that fact and forget them, however hard that may be.
